The Ralph Hauser III Foundation is dedicated to the empowerment of
underprivileged youth in their pursuit of achieving excellence in the
areas of music and fine arts.
Background
Ralph Hauser III is remembered as one of the most loved and respected Latin music promoters and artist managers of recent memory. Always the visionary, Ralph recognized that the massive Latin immigrant population in the United States was hungry for the cultural icons of their youth, and more than that, he realized that bringing those iconic figures to premier U.S. venues would provide Spanish-speaking audiences with a validating cultural experience.
Unfortunately, the world was robbed of Ralph Hauser’s vision when he died
unexpectedly at the age of 41 in 2003. His passing left a great void not only in
the music industry, but also in the hearts of those who knew him. Ultimately, the
Ralph Hauser story is one of triumph and success that continues to inspire everyday.
Purpose
In 2003, in an effort to honor Ralph Hauser’s love for music and continue his
legacy of taking talent to the next level, his family members established the
Ralph Hauser III Foundation.
Our foundation is a nonprofit organization focused in Southern California that
awards scholarships to underprivileged, yet deserving young students who wish
to further their studies in the fields of music or the fine arts.
Each year the foundation provides financial assistance to top students and over
the years has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarship funds.
Past scholarship recipients include foster youth who have overcome adversity
to attain academic success, and students who have been accepted into
prestigious institutions such as The Juilliard School.
